Survival Guide: GIRLS HOLIDAY IN ZANTE!

In the summer of 2018, I went to Zante with 3 of my bestest friends and from that trip I have since discovered how to survive a girls holiday.

1. Go with your BESTEST friends- you will be living, breathing and eating together for 1 week. Luckily i live with my friends so we already knew each others habits before going away. However, it is possible you may get under each others feet so go with people you feel the most comfortable with.

2. Events- we booked 4 events before going to Zante being (White party, paint party, foam party and boat party) and with this package we paid £125, however, you can buy a similar package when you arrive at your hotel and the reps charge EUR 250 so have a think what you want to do before you go.

3. Anything goes- from smoking in the clubs and receptions of hotels to dancing on bars, tables, poles and stages. Zante is a place where the rules do not apply.

4. Making friends... Our experience was made due to the friends we made. You honestly make friends from the first day right up till the last and going out and bumping into your 'new mates' is fab.

5. Club and bar promoters- if you have been to Zante (or any clubbing holiday) you know the club promoters are all along the strip and each and every one is desperate to get you into their bar for the best deal. However, to try shake them off can be a mission. In the end, we just told them we were either coming back out or flying home because sometimes a girl just wants to walk home with a pizza slice in peace.

6. You must go to the beach and hire a pedalo!! This was one of my favourite memories from the holiday and i recommend to anyone to just peddle out into the ocean, jump off and have a little sunbathe.

7. Be prepared- if, like us, you are going out every night make sure to be prepared. I was the pharmacy when we were away from Paracetamol, Ibuprofen, Buscopan and Relief from the alcoholic number 2's. It can happen so, to survive, dose up!

8. Do as many events as possible. With the 4 events already planned, we booked a further 3 events when we were there, with the first day having 2 events being a champagne spray (THE BEST EVENT) along with a club night after wards and this was the best start to our holiday.

9. FLU- This is no joke. If you thought freshers flu was bad then Zante flu is even worse. A week on and im still full of a cold (worth it though)

10. Best experience ever- i recommend everyone to go on a girls or lads holiday because it is a holiday i will never forget with my bestest friends and we will be talking about it for years to come.
