Forest Holidays - A weekend in the woods with friends

On the 18th August myself and Lewis went away with friends to a secluded cabin in the Yorkshire Moors woodlands.
A little background on the cabin:

• Sleeps 6
• Two floors (Ground floor has 2 bedrooms, bathroom and toilet/ First floor has on suite bedroom)
• BBQ
• Hot Tub!!

= Around £120  per person

I would recommend this type of get-away to anyone who is looking for a diverse break.

Not only do you have the forest on your door step with activities such as zip wiring, archery, rifle shooting and Go Ape...BUT you also have the sea side an hour away.

We visited Scarborough twice in our weekend stay and I for one thoroughly enjoyed it.
What's not to love? Tacky arcades, sticks of rock, traditional fudge and frolicking on the beach when its 13 degrees.

Although we only stayed Friday-Monday, this woodland break is ideal for families, couples and groups as there are a variety are cabin types (including pet friendly).

So next time you find yourself looking for a weekend away, i would recommend this type of break as it's something i will always remember.
